Hi Family and Friends! Kristi and I just started this blog as a way, mostly, to share videos of the babe, taken with our new video camera. We hope you enjoy!
I grew up on Bainbridge Island, just off Seattle, and after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Cornell, I worked as a cruise musician. After getting a Masters, I composed/conducted for the Henry Mancini Orchestra in LA, but couldn't keep music going and turned to magazine writing——music reviews, travel, outdoor sports, education...anything. With my then-girlfriend, now-wife, I moved to Bozeman, Montana where I adjuncted at MSU, wrote a Trail of the Week column for the local paper, and published about fifteen education books with various companies (search my name on Amazon). The math/humor giftbook Geek Logik was my first mainstream book——it offers algebraic equations for everything from "do you have a snowball's chance in hell with her?" to "should you quit your job?". I followed it with the YA book Doggy Dung Disaster, which includes 30 non-fiction profiles of young heroes from around the world. Also in there, I got married and had a baby! With my family, we're headed to SoCal, where Kristi's starting a PhD in Clinical Psych and I'm working on more books (stay tuned). I'm very open to comments and do my best to respond——please send your thoughts!
